We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Registered Nurse to join our team at Pennsylvania Place in Ottumwa, IA. As a nurse you’d be part of a collaborative team whose energy, creativity, and communication are valued and rewarded.
OverviewThis position is responsible for providing nursing care in a collaborative, resident-centered environment and supporting the Director of Nursing with routine tasks as needed.
Responsibilities- Assisting the Director of Nursing with routine assessments, staff training and scheduling, communicating tenant changes and concerns with physicians/providers, communicating with tenants and families, and on-call.
- Job Type: RN
- Work Hours: Part Time
- Training For Position: Formal and Informal
- Physical Requirements: Light lifting and carrying
- Education: Registered Nursing Degree
- Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in a long-term care or Assisted Living community
- Expected hours: 24 per week
- Work Location: In person
