Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse located in Ottumwa, Iowa. This position involves providing specialized maternal care within a regional health center that offers a wide range of obstetric and neonatal services. The role requires working night shifts and supporting active labor, postpartum care, and patient stability.

• Certifications and
  
  Education Requirements:
  
  BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE; minimum of 1 year of experience;
  Iowa State Background Check Clearance (including Criminal and Child Abuse portions); mandatory reporter certification (child and adult); 10-panel drug screening including opiates; titers within the last 12 months for MMR, hepatitis B, varicella, TB.
• Shift: Nights; 12-hour shifts, 36 to 48 hours per week.
• Additional Job Information:
  Must have at least 1 year of experience, including travel experience if applicable; required onboarding includes clear background checks, certification, and drug testing; starts available on Monday or Tuesday; float within hospital to other units as needed; active labor patient ratio 1:1, and couplet care 3:1; uses Philips Tracevue for fetal monitoring and Meditech electronic health records.
