American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit requiring an active IA or compact RN license and at least 1 year of acute care experience.

• Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation unit with 13 beds
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 6 patients
• Common diagnoses include neuro, trauma, and burn cases requiring gait training/strengthening and wound vac management
• Uses lift equipment and Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to Med Surg as needed
• No call requirements

• Active RN license (IA or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA certifications required)
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience required, including at least 1 year of acute care experience
• Med Surg or LTAC experience accepted
• Must pass Iowa SING background check including criminal and child abuse portions
• Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult)
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screening including opiates
• Titers required within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB)
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care within an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
• Supports patients undergoing gait training, strengthening, and wound care
• Travel experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Monday or Tuesday start dates accepted
