American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit requiring at least one year of acute care experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

• Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation unit with 13 beds
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Common diagnoses include neuro, trauma, burn, gait training/strengthening, and wound vac care
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 6 patients
• Uses lift equipment and Meditech EHR
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Floating to Med Surg as needed

• Active RN license (IA or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• 1-2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 year of acute care experience
• Med Surg or LTAC experience accepted in lieu of direct rehab experience
• Must pass Iowa SING background check including criminal and child abuse portions
• Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult)
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screening including opiates
• Titers required within the last 12 months for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and TB

• Provide direct patient care within an acute rehabilitation setting focusing on neuro, trauma, and burn recovery
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary care team to support individualized patient recovery plans
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• Monday or Tuesday start dates accepted
• Travel experience preferred but not required, making this role suitable for first-time travelers
