Property Accountant – Overland Park, KS

Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a Property Accountant to manage accounting, reporting, and monthly sales tax returns for 60+ property locations. The role demands problem‑solving skills and rapid discrepancy resolution.

    Dependent on experience, $45,000.00 – $50,000.00.

Primary Duties
  • Communicate effectively with managers and vendors.
  • Data entry.
  • Accounts payable processing.
  • Reconcile all bank accounts.
  • File sales tax returns.
  • Track property cash accounts and manage compliance to HMC Cash Handling Policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of property accounting (AP) experience OR Accounting/Business Administration minor in Accounting or equivalent degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A great attitude.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
