Senior Accountant - Hybrid

A well-established organization in the Overland Park area is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This hybrid position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working with financial reporting, analysis, and partnering with leadership to support strategic business decisions.

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Reconcile customer accounts and manage the collections process
• Handle client invoicing, set up new accounts and reconcile them.
• Manage the client invoicing, set up new accounts, reconcile them and close the books monthly
• Support month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Perform additional accounting and finance projects as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior accounting role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience preparing financial statements and presenting financial information to leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
