Senior Tax Accountant

A global, mid-sized, PE-backed company in Overland Park is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join its corporate tax team. This role reports to the head of tax and covers U.S. tax compliance, the annual income tax provision (ASC 740), and support for tax planning projects. You'll get exposure to federal, state, and international tax at a multinational organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare U.S. federal and state corporate income tax returns, including international information returns
• Manage extension and estimated tax payment calculations and deadlines
• Prepare the annual income tax provision (ASC 740)
• Maintain supporting work papers and help improve tax processes
• Assist with tax planning, transfer pricing documentation, fixed assets, and audits
• Stay current on U.S. tax law changes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or Master's a plus
• 3+ years of corporate tax experience in public accounting or industry
• Strong Excel skills and experience with tax compliance and provision software
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to explain tax concepts clearly
