Site Superintendent

Overview

Large Nationwide Construction Company urgently seeks an experienced Site Manager or Superintendent. This role is focused on overseeing construction of state-of-the-art data centers and distribution warehouses, managing a diverse team of construction professionals, and ensuring timely project completion.

Salary: $/yr - $/yr. This range is provided by Jobot; actual pay is based on skills and experience.

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality standards.
• Review and interpret project plans and specifications; recommend improvements and adjustments as necessary.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of construction workers and subcontractors, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage and mitigate project risks, identifying potential problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations; maintain meticulous records of site activities.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers; provide regular progress updates and address concerns.
• Conduct site inspections and audits; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment; ensure optimal utilization and minimize waste.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in data center or distribution warehouse construction.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Proficient in MEP systems with strong data center infrastructure expertise.
• Experience managing mission-critical construction projects with multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Problem-solving skills with proactive risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams.
• Proficient in construction management software and tools.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Construction Health and Safety certification or related is a plus.

Project size: $100 million+; typical sites include data centers and distribution warehouses (e.g., 100,000 sq ft projects).

Work schedule:

10 days on, 4 days off; occasional nationwide travel to substitute for other site superintendents.
