Under the supervision of a licensed professional, this position provides support to the instructional process by assisting in the instruction, rehearsals and/or performances of instrumental music students.

• Prepare students for various performances, either as soloists or ensemble members.
• Supervise sectional rehearsals and ensembles.
• Prepare groups for participation in school performances, festivals, clinics, parades, etc.

• Knowledge and experience of instrumental music techniques and performance practices, with the ability to develop musicianship in a classroom setting.
• Familiarity with instrumental music ensembles and various instruments and components.
• Ability to read and interpret music notation; ability to effectively work with all students; maintain confidentiality.
