ECE Substitutes is a staffing agency exclusively for licensed early childhood programs. We support preschools, childcare centers, Head Start programs, and Pre‑K classrooms by providing vetted substitute teachers when schools need coverage.

• This is not a full‑time position and not a guaranteed schedule.
• This role is ideal for educators who want flexibility, variety, and control over their schedule.
• Once approved, you’ll be able to pick up substitute shifts that fit your availability — no minimum hours and no long‑term commitment.

You are never required to accept shifts.

• Provide classroom coverage in licensed early childhood programs
• Support children ages birth–6 years
• Follow center routines, schedules, and classroom expectations
• Maintain a safe, positive learning environment
• Communicate professionally with center staff
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines

• Experience working with children in an early childhood setting
• Resume required
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Reliable transportation
• Professional, dependable, and flexible
• Ability to follow center policies and procedures

(CDA or ECE coursework is a plus, but not required unless stated for specific placements.)

• This is a substitute/on‑call role
• Shifts are not guaranteed
• Teachers choose shifts after approval
• Background checks are required before accessing shifts
• No‑shows or repeated cancellations may result in removal from the pool
