Job Title: Entry-level CAD Drafter

Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for an Entry-level CAD Drafter with our client located in Overland Park, Kansas.

• Production of architectural contract drawings and specifications for multiple telecommunications projects.
• Coordination of structural, mechanical, electrical drawings and specifications with architectural contract documents for telecommunication facilities.
• Conduct site research, both desktop and on- site visits as needed.
• Consult with municipalities to determine site specific jurisdictional requirements.
• Ensure that drawings are checked, approved and filed in accordance with company quality system.

• At least 6 months' experience with AutoCAD.
• Technical or vocational training in drafting technology.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of MS Office, MS Word & MS Excel.
• Understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines and capability of coordinating drawing production for these disciplines.
• Strong organizational, written and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Team-based and fast paced work environment.
• Overtime required as needed to meet client deadlines.
