We’re partnering with a well-established electrical design and consulting firm that’s growing their remote team. This position is ideal for a skilled electrical designer or engineer with at least 5 years of experience delivering commercial building projects in fast-paced environments.
You’ll work on a steady pipeline of small to mid-sized projects—think retail, restaurants, hospitality, and other tenant buildouts with timelines that range from just a few days to several months. The pace is quick, the work is consistent, and the culture is all about collaboration, ownership, and trust.
What You’ll Do- Lead the design of electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, panel schedules, emergency systems, etc.) using AutoCAD and / or Revit
- Apply NEC standards and ensure all designs meet applicable codes
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and consultants to deliver on-schedule and within scope
- Use Excel-based templates for load calculations, voltage drops, and other internal workflows
- Participate in project kickoff, design reviews, and QA / QC processes
- Mentor junior staff where applicable and support process improvement
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial building projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required;
Revit experience preferred - Solid understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and comfort working independently
- PE license is a plus but not required
- U.S. work authorization required

- Salary range: $75K–$100K, depending on experience and licensure
