Design Engineer
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Design Engineer to join their team! Join an innovative team where your expertise in Solid Works will be pivotal. As a Design Engineer, you'll bridge the gap between design and production, ensuring models and drawings are ready for fabrication. This is a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity, offering a chance to work on diverse projects and make a significant impact.
Compensation$38 - $42/hour, depending on experience
LocationOverland Park, Kansas
Key Responsibilities & Duties- Utilize Solid Works for advanced modeling and toolpaths
- Collaborate with project managers and production staff
- Uphold quality standards and accountability for projects
- Communicate professionally with clients when necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3‑5 years of experience in Design Engineering
- Advanced proficiency in Solid Works
- Ability to read architectural plans
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with structural metal, sheet metal, or plastics
