The Engineer III develops extensive knowledge and skills in a specific practice area
. This role involves evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques
, procedures
, and criteria to perform tasks or sequences of tasks for conventional projects with minimal complexity. The position requires using judgment to adapt methods for non-routine aspects of assignments and working on small projects or portions of larger projects
.
- Perform moderate design tasks or lead review tasks
- Prepare portions of project documents or provide markups for reviewed documents
- Edit or review specifications
- Conduct research and investigations
- Work independently on tasks and use discretion to address concerns before contacting the client
- Other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Proficiency with electronic communication
, including email and text
, and standard office applications (e.g.,
Microsoft Office Suite
). - Basic oral and written communication skills
. - Ability to interact effectively with other staff members.
Required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
- 3+ years of prior experience required.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
- Experience producing drawings with CAD software
.
