What You Will Do
  • Process and manage bi‑weekly and monthly payroll cycles for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Review timesheets and other payroll input data to detect and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Run and reconcile payroll reports and audits.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records with confidentiality and precision.
  • Respond to employee paycheck questions and issues in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are properly documented and saved for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve discrepancies and support cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Stay updated on changes to federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
  • Assist with year‑end payroll processes, including W‑2 and other tax statement preparation.
  • Identify needed additions, updates and edits to payroll processing guide and user quick reference guides and make required modifications.
  • Employment verification processing support.
What You Will Need to be Successful
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of payroll practices, labor laws, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and Payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
