• The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director. The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The Registered Nurse in 662 L&D provides care for adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age;
  
  adult patients between 18 to 50 year.

• PRN Schedule (flexible commit to 3-12 shifts per 4-week schedule); provide care to high-risk and stable, healthy mothers in a dynamic, fast-paced 25-bed unit; supportive leadership, robust skill development opportunities within L&D, Antepartum and Women's Surgical.

• Graduate of school of nursing required.

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.

• BCLS required upon hire. NRP certification required within six months. ACLS required.

Overland Park Regional Medical Center () is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center.
