RN Emergency Department Manager
Pay Range: $44.27 – $61.99/hour (based on years of experience)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Manager to provide strong nursing leadership and oversee daily operations of a high-volume, Level II Trauma Emergency Department. This role reports to the ED Director and hospital nursing leadership and is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight for Emergency Department nursing staff
- Manage daily operations, staffing, and workflow of the ED
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and clinical standards
- Monitor quality outcomes and hold staff accountable for performance
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Trauma Level: II
- Patient Volume: ~100 patients per day
- Unit Size: 24 main beds + 12 hallway beds
- Staff Oversight: ~90 FTEs
- Departments Overseen:
Emergency Department only
- Minimum 3 years of recent (within the last year) acute care ED leadership experience
- Charge Nurse experience considered;
Manager-level experience strongly preferred in high-acuity settings - Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred or actively pursuing, completion within 2 years of hire) - Active RN license (compact license accepted where applicable)
- Required within 90 days of hire: ACLS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, ENPC or PALS
