Medical Surgical​/Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.
• Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Unit Details:

- Primarily renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general med-surg patient population.

- Uses EKG, bladder scanner, sit-to-stand, Hoyer lift, hover mat, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis.

- Unit support includes an unencumbered charge nurse and clinical educator.

Shift & Scheduling:

- Flexible contract hours: 48 per week preferred.

- At least every 3rd weekend, 3 shifts per week.

Floating Requirements:

- Can float to like units:
Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, Obs, and Rehab.

All time off requests must be submitted eduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
