RN - Obstetrics

Quinter, KS | Critical Access Hospital

Contract | Nights (17:45–06:00) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in the OB unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Float to Med/Surg as needed, with a typical patient ratio of 1:3; this assignment may involve more Med/Surg shifts than OB shifts
• Utilize CPSI and Perigen electronic charting systems
• Occasionally assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed
• Maintain required certifications including BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Certification, and NRP — all must be AHA-issued

• Active Kansas or Multistate RN license required at time of submission
• Previous OB and Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Previous Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification required
• NRP certification (AHA) required
• Flu vaccine strongly preferred; religious and medical exemptions are accepted, though unvaccinated staff may be required to wear a mask during flu season

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with CPSI and/or Perigen charting systems

• Opportunity to work in a close-knit rural healthcare setting serving a critical access community
