American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring L&D experience and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.

• Work in a 13-bed Labor and Delivery unit with 3 additional triage beds
• Unit staffed with RNs, OB techs, and a unit clerk on day shift
• Follows AWHONN patient ratio guidelines, including 1:1 for labor and recovery patients, with up to 2 Cytotec or Cervidil patients
• Performs vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Uses fetal monitoring and OR equipment
• EMR system is CPN/GE
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required with no on-call obligations
• Floating required to Mother Baby and Women's Surgery units

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) card, Advanced 9th Edition, from the American Academy of Pediatrics
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Labor and Delivery experience required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Provide direct patient care in a culture of caring and compassion
• Experience with OR circulation for C-sections, catching newborns, and antepartum care preferred
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• First-time travelers are not addressed and should confirm eligibility directly
