Kennel Attendant - Oxford Animal Hospital

Overland Park, KS | Full time | 30+ hours per week

• Providing compassionate animal care to all pets boarding, day‑care and/or hospitalized in the facility.
• Providing courteous customer service when admitting pets to theRoma facility and returning pets to clients.
• intern monitoring boarding pets’ behaviors, including eating, drinking and elimination patterns to identify potential problems and notifying a supervisor or DVM of concerns.
• Assisting treatment staff with patient restraint during treatments when requested.
• Administering medications, orally, topically, and insulin when needed.
• Providing enrichment and ensuring comfort and well‑being of boarding pets through walking, feeding, playtimes, and access to clean blankets and food/water bowls.
• Bathing boarders.
• Facilitating socialization of pets through approved supervised playtimes.
• Assisting with maintaining cleanliness of the hospital, boarding areasviše grounds.
• Performing other related tasks as required.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, squat, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The rate offered will consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
