Merchandising Specialist

Overland Park, KS | Temporary | Onsite Morgan Hunter is partnering with a well-known Kansas City-area organization to hire a Merchandising Specialist for a temporary assignment through the end of the year. This role will provide hands-on support to the merchandising team during a busy period of transition, with a strong focus on product data, vendor information, and accuracy.

• Create and maintain product SKUs and UPC codes
• Review vendor packets and product information for completeness and accuracy
• Verify pricing and other merchandising data
• Route vendor agreements and documents for appropriate signatures
• Maintain and update information across multiple internal systems
• Use Excel to research, compare, and validate product and vendor data
• Perform XLOOKUPs and other spreadsheet functions to support daily work
• Assist the merchandising team with additional projects as needed

• Strong Excel skills, including experience with XLOOKUP or similar functions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and other business applications
• Comfortable learning and working within multiple software systems
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Previous merchandising, product data, purchasing, vendor management, or related experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and contribute
