Role Overview:Lula Commerce is seeking a tech-savvy and proactive Digital Enablement Specialist to fuel our sales pipeline through innovative, AI-powered prospecting and outreach. In this modern Business Development Representative (BDR) role, you will focus on top-of-funnel sales activities—identifying and engaging prospective convenience store partners through digital channels, creative campaigns, and data-driven strategies.
You’ll play a critical part in connecting independent convenience store owners, franchisees, and enterprise prospects with Lula’s platform, helping them discover how our solutions can transform their businesses. This role goes beyond traditional cold-calling; we’re looking for a digitally fluent professional who can leverage the latest tools (including AI) to research prospects, personalize communications, and generate high-quality leads. Key Responsibilities:Outbound Prospecting: Proactively source and identify potential convenience store and retail partners (independent stores, franchisees, and enterprise chains) through research and use of digital tools. Build prospect lists leveraging resources like industry databases, Linked In, and AI-powered research tools.
Multi-Channel Outreach: Execute personalized outreach campaigns across email, phone, social media, and other digital channels to initiate conversations with prospects. Use AI tools (e.g., generative AI for email drafting and social outreach) to tailor messaging that resonates with each prospect’s business needs and pain points.

Qualification:
Conduct initial discovery calls or email conversations to assess prospect fit and interest. Qualify inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads, effectively articulating Lula’s value proposition for convenience retailers.Pipeline Development: Nurture interested leads through regular follow-ups, providing additional information and resources to educate prospects about Lula Commerce. Schedule product demos or meetings with senior sales executives for highly qualified leads.
Digital Enablement & Automation: Manage and optimize sales outreach sequences using automation tools (such as sales engagement platforms or CRM workflows). Continuously experiment with new tools and AI-driven techniques to improve efficiency and response rates (e.g., AI-assisted lead scoring, chatbots for initial outreach, etc.).
Collaboration with Marketing and Sales: Work closely with the marketing team to align on messaging, target segments, and campaigns (for example, coordinating on email marketing initiatives or content offers for lead generation). Provide feedback on common prospect objections or questions to refine marketing materials and strategy. Team up with the enterprise sales and account executive team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities and share insights from the front lines of prospecting.
