We've been fixing appliances since 1988, started in Doug and Anne Carlson's garage in Omaha, and are now one of the Midwest's most respected service companies. Their grandson Todd runs things today, and we've grown to multiple locations because manufacturers and dealers keep asking us to expand.

No experience? No problem. We train from the ground up. We're looking for mechanically curious people who are good with customers and ready to learn a skilled trade. Our VP, trainer, and service managers all started as apprentices here—and Todd's worked as a tech himself. We train from the ground up. If you're mechanically curious, good with people, and want to learn a skilled trade with actual earning potential, we'll teach you the rest. Our apprentices typically earn around $60K in their first year.

Already an Experienced Tech?

We're offering a signing bonus—$2,500 for experienced techs, $5,000 if you're competent in sealed system repairs—paid after 90 days. You'll work with quality parts, run realistic routes (8 calls, not the impossible 12+ some places push), and have management that backs you up when customers get unreasonable.

Experienced techs typically earn around $80K their first year. Top performers doing sealed system work clear $100K+.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnosing and repairing residential appliances in customers' homes
• Helping families avoid unnecessary replacements
• Communicating honestly—we give people options
• Writing clean service notes and managing parts
• Representing a company with a reputation worth protecting
• Maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Apprentice Track:
Mechanically inclined, customer-focused, eager to learn, and looking for a career—not just a job.

Experienced Track:
Comfortable working independently, solid diagnostic skills, sealed system experience is a plus but not required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Clean criminal background check
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and move appliances with proper equipment
• Professional attitude and strong communication skills

Final candidates undergo background checks and drug screenings.
