Job Description
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Android development
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android
- Good experience in the following:
Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, background operations in Android apps, Jetpack Compose, Work Manager, Job Scheduler, RxJava, Services, Foreground Services, Retrofit, Dagger DI, Room Database Library, Git - Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android apps to back-end services
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
- Knowledge of theopen-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with cloud (Azure) and push notifications
- Nice to have:
Headless app development experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
