Sr Software Engineer, iOS – T‑Mobile

Job OverviewThe Sr Software Engineer works with network, systems, and other software engineers to design, implement, and deploy scalable, highly‑available iOS applications that meet customer requirements. The role involves architecture and design of applications using technologies such as virtualization, micro‑services, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms.
Responsibilities- Lead engineering projects by developing software solutions; conduct tests and inspections; prepare reports and calculations.
- Understand system protocols and data flows, staying current on technology benefits.
- Independently develop and maintain a full iOS software stack, including dependencies and tooling.
- Collaborate with system engineers to define requirements and automation needs.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct in‑house workshops.
- Contribute to design reviews, process improvements, and new framework implementations.
- Document technical designs, presentations, and business requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post‑baccalaureate work experience (required).
- Master’s degree or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus 3 years of relevant work experience (preferred).
- 4–7 years of technical engineering experience.
- 3–5 years of mobile application development using Swift.
Skills and Abilities

- Technical writing proficiency.
- Minimum age 18.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Base pay range: $113,600 – $205,000. Corporate bonus target: 15%.
