MBB’s technology team is big into building accessible, beautiful, mobile responsive websites and applications for our amazing clients. We’re currently looking for a Software Engineer to add to our team.
The work you’ll do:- Build accessible, responsive websites and applications from design files (Adobe XD, Figma, etc.)
- Use Git for branching, pull requests, and code review (we use Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub)
- Read requirements closely, spot gaps early, and ask good questions before the gaps become bugs
- Explain technical decisions clearly to clients and teammates who aren’t developers
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and clients, and work well on your own
- Manage multiple long-term projects along with often urgent smaller tasks
- Estimate and plan work
- An eye for design, front-end performance, and accessibility
- Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or PostCSS
- A passion for UI development and learning new technologies
- PHP and PHP CMSs such as Word Press
- Headless CMSs and content modeling
- Building or integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Mobile app development, such as React Native
- Testing experience

We’re a little offbeat, in a good way. We like people who are thoughtful, talented and just weird enough to make the room more interesting. We work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Tuesday through Thursday, we head into the office. We have happy hours every Thursday and half days on summer Fridays.
