Solution Engineer

The Solution Engineer III is responsible for bridging the technical gap between our solution offerings and the needs of our clients. The scope of this job includes collaboration with sales, solution development, and implementation teams to understand client requirements, propose technical solutions, and demonstrate the value of Well Sky solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with project managers to recommend, plan, and execute development implementation tasks in alignment with client objectives and develop recommendations for mitigating project risks.

• Faciliate discovery sessions to gather and write requirements and assess feasibility of the custom solution.

• Architect custom solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and performance by leveraging expertise in development tools and technical modalities.

• Perform debugging and root cause analysis for custom solution issues, including documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions.

• Demonstrate expert knowledge in at least one solution application by utilizing multiple functionalities, tools, and modalities for effective customization.

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding the feasibility of requests by providing tailored explanations and ensuring scope adherence.

• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

• At least 4-6 years relevant work experience

• Strong experience configuring, implementing, and supporting HL7 interfaces using integration protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP and APIs

• Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts

• Experience architecting custom interfaces or integrations based on technical and vendor specifications

• Healthcare IT experience, preferably supporting healthcare integrations, interoperability, or clinical data exchange

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) and related file-transfer processes

• Exposure to or experience with IBM RPG

Job Expectations:

• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
• Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
• Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
