Youth Sports and Fitness Coach

Amazing Athletes is a premier, sports based, enrichment program for kids. We recently opened a branch in the Kansas City Metro area and are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to add to our coaching team. This part-time position requires coaching the fundamentals of 10 different sports to kids, ages ranging from 2 - 6 years old. Amazing Athletes coaches must have a passion for sports and fitness and most importantly enjoy working with children.

Our goal is to have a positive impact while delivering phenomenal experiences.

$7,000.00/yr - $16,000.00/yr

We are based in Overland Park, KS but have classes in Kansas City, Leawood, Prairie Village, Overland Park, Olathe and Lees Summit. Classes are typically conducted at schools or local parks in the mornings (9:00am - 12:00pm) and in the afternoons (3:00pm - 6:00pm).

• Coach the fundamentals of 10 different sports to children aged 2 - 6 years old.
• Maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout every class.
• Teach classes in an organized, structured, and fun manner (training will be provided).
• Maintain class rosters and build/maintain relationships with directors, teachers, parents and children.
• Deliver phenomenal experiences and a positive impact for participants.
• Be able to commit to a minimum of 12 months with the company and aim for long-term growth.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation as classes are held at different locations within the territory
• Must have a clean, valid driver's license
• Must pass both state and FBI background checks (Includes DUI/DWI)
• Attendance and punctuality are paramount
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working with children
• Understand your responsibilities while in charge of children
• Background in fitness preferred (athletics, sports, dance, martial arts, gymnastics, etc.)
• Experience working with children aged 2.5 - 6 preferred (teacher, substitute teacher, camp counselor)
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
