As an Inpatient/Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist, you ll use evidence-based techniques to transform patients’ lives. Your primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with a diagnosis of stroke, traumatic brain injury, head and neck cancer, and progressive neurological conditions. This role offers interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced-based practice for our patients.

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patients’ families, fellow clinicians, and other team members
• Build and maintain relationships with hospital staff (i.e., physicians, case management, nurses, social workers, dietitians, etc.)

• Graduate of a master’s degree program in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
