As an Inpatient/Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist, you ll use evidence-based techniques to transform patients’ lives. Your primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with a diagnosis of stroke, traumatic brain injury, head and neck cancer, and progressive neurological conditions. This role offers interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced-based practice for our patients.
Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
- Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patients’ families, fellow clinicians, and other team members
- Build and maintain relationships with hospital staff (i.e., physicians, case management, nurses, social workers, dietitians, etc.)
- Graduate of a master’s degree program in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
