Position: DLO Part Time Evening Shift Phlebotomy Service Rep I

DLO Part Time Evening Shift Phlebotomy Service Rep I – Quest Diagnostics

Location:

Owasso, OK (Leads to DLO – Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma)

Hours:

Monday‑Friday 1pm‑5pm (part‑time, evening shift)

Essential Functions
  • Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift.
  • Perform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment.
  • Must be able to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Specimen collection includes all age groups and both inpatients and outpatients.
  • Clerical tasks and computer data entry are a PSR responsibility.
  • Must be customer service focused and professional.
Qualifications

Required Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, specimen requirements and basic computer use is helpful.
  • Must comply with all DLO safety and compliance policies.

Experience:

  • Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required.
  • Previous phlebotomy experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Experience working/interacting with patients in a hospital setting is preferred.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Lift light to moderately heavy objects (1–15 lbs frequently, 16–25 lbs occasionally, 26–40 lbs seldom); objects over 41 lbs require assistance.
  • Duration of sitting or standing for long periods; requires long hours of eye and hand coordination.
  • Perform repetitive tasks with dominant hand frequently.
  • Position may require travel.
  • Extensive use of phone and PC.
  • Fine dexterity with hands/steadiness.
  • Talking, walking, balancing, bending/kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching/twisting.

Must be able to communicate effectively to clients, patients and staff in person and on the telephone. Must have excellent patient service skills. Must be able to adjust schedule to help cover other shifts as needed.
