Salary: $75,000 – $90,000

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a heavy manufacturing facility in Collinsville, OK. This position focuses on identifying and reducing inefficiencies across production processes—particularly within welding operations—by conducting detailed time studies, analyzing workflows, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with leadership and production teams to enhance productivity, improve quality, and drive operational excellence across the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze production data, process flows, and schedules to assess and improve current manufacturing methods.
  • Conduct detailed time and motion studies, particularly related to welding operations, to reduce setup and cycle times.
  • Design and maintain efficient plant layouts and manufacturing processes that maximize productivity and space utilization.
  • Develop and implement process controls to reduce downtime, manage costs, and maintain consistent product quality.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to uphold and exceed product standards.
  • Define and document production standards and best practices for ongoing improvement.
  • Ensure all manufacturing systems and procedures comply with OSHA safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide hands‑on engineering support for cross‑department improvement projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy manufacturing or precision fabrication.
  • Strong working knowledge of welding processes, welding equipment, and labor standards.
  • Proven experience conducting time studies and workflow analyses.
  • Understanding of cost management, quality systems, and material flow.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and KPI tracking.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
