We are seeking a dependable and hands‑on Production Lead to oversee daily operations on a dedicated production line within a food‑processing environment. The Production Lead ensures efficient workflow, maintains quality and food safety standards, and supervises a team while coordinating with supporting departments to meet production goals.

• Lead, direct, and motivate production staff; assign daily tasks and ensure proper staffing levels
• Train new employees on meat handling techniques , food safety rules, and quality standards
• Monitor employee performance; provide feedback and address performance issues
• Oversee production line operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules
• Track production rates and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Manage downtime, troubleshoot machinery issues, and coordinate timely repairs
• Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and quality checks of finished meat products
• Perform regular quality inspections to ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
• Enforce compliance with all GMP , HACCP , and company safety regulations
• Maintain accurate production documentation, including yields and QC records
• Communicate production updates, challenges, and needs to the Production Manager
• Coordinate with maintenance, QA, logistics, and other departments
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 1–3 years leadership experience in a meat processing facility or similar industry preferred
• Strong leadership and team-motivating abilities
• Knowledge of food safety regulations , GMP , and HACCP
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Comfortable working in warm or cold refrigerated environments
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English (Spanish a plus)
