Host, Retail, Customer Service Rep

A Host is accountable for directing the traffic flow of guests in the restaurant, handling all payment transactions, and ensuring the security of the cash drawer. Position reports to the General Manager and requires minimal supervision.

• Greet and seat guests; read and use the seating chart and wait list.
• Be knowledgeable about Rib Crib products, the general preparation methods, portion sizes, and prices; able to discuss with customers in person or over the phone.
• Answer phone calls, determine the nature of the call, and direct calls to the appropriate persons. Take call-in orders and answer catering questions when necessary.
• Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the cashier stand and restroom maintenance.
• Perform stocking for the to-go station and package to-go orders.
• Record and analyze cash flow, which may include opening, running and closing duties.
• Demonstrate a willingness to assume any responsibility or perform any task to support teamwork; all other duties as assigned.
