Wenger Corporation is seeking a Product Configuration Specialist to join our team! As a Product Configuration Specialist
, you will contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience by leveraging the Epicor CPQ (formerly KBMax) platform to streamline our sales, engineering, and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will configure, maintain, and optimize our cloud‑based CPQ system to support the configuration, pricing, and quoting of complex, customizable products. You'll collaborate with sales, engineering, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with ERP, CRM, and CAD systems, delivering an exceptional buying experience for our customers and efficiency for our operations.

At

a minimum, you'll need:
  • Two (2) years working with CPQ software, ideally Epicor CPQ (KBMax)
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering‑to‑order (ETO), or configure‑to‑order (CTO) environments
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot configuration errors and optimize system performance.
  • Excellent ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and train non‑technical users.
It'd be great if you also have:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Epicor CPQ's Snap rules engine or similar logic‑building tools. Basic understanding of CAD automation and APIs.
  • Understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, and manufacturing workflows for complex products.
  • Experience with Solid Works/AutoCAD, 3D visualization tools, or cloud‑based software administration.
What you will do on a typical day:
  • Configuration and Customization:
    Design and implement product configurators within Epicor CPQ, using its visual rules engine (Snap) to define product options, pricing logic, and manufacturing constraints for 2D/3D visualizations.
  • Quote Automation:
    Develop and maintain workflows to generate accurate quotes, proposals, bills of materials (BOMs), and CAD drawings automatically based on customer configurations.
  • System Integration:
    Collaborate with IT to integrate Epicor CPQ with existing systems (e.g., Epicor ERP, Salesforce CRM, or CAD tools like Solid Works/AutoCAD) to ensure smooth data flow across sales and production.
  • User Support and Training:
    Provide ongoing support to sales reps, distributors, and end‑users, training them on configuring products and generating quotes effectively within the platform.
  • Process Optimization:
    Identify opportunities to enhance sales cycles and manufacturing efficiency by refining CPQ rules, pricing models, and document generation processes.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the CPQ system, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum accuracy in outputs.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    Utilize Epicor CPQ's analytics to track user interactions, identify sales trends, and recommend improvements to product offerings or pricing strategies.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, workflows, and integrations for future reference and compliance.
