Salary: 100-140k, depends on experience

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Mechanical Designers and Design Engineers
• Assign and manage engineering projects within the project management system
• Serve as the primary point of coordination for how engineering work is executed at customer sites
• Support the bid and proposal process, including preliminary engineering input and feasibility reviews
• Once a bid is awarded, evaluate project scope and assign work to appropriate engineers and designers
• Oversee and support the development of AutoCAD drawing sets following awarded bids
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, schedule, and customer requirements
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, and Manufacturing teams
• Provide technical guidance, problem‑solving support, and workload balancing for the team

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is nice to have, but will consider candidates without a degree as long as they have 5 years of experience in the field.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably with large‑scale equipment or construction industry background
• Prior experience working with AutoCAD (hands‑on or oversight level)
• Strong understanding of engineering workflows from bid phase through execution
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize resources
• Interest in or early experience with technical leadership or supervision
• Strong communication and decision‑making skills

• Experience leading or mentoring engineers or designers
• Exposure to customer‑facing engineering projects
• Background in industrial machinery, capital equipment, or custom‑engineered systems
