Life Insurance Specialist

As a Life New Business Case Manager, you will review, evaluate and process new Life and Disability Income business transactions and will work closely with our Sales Representatives, Underwriters and insureds. We are seeking a team player with effective phone skills, strong attention to detail, and a flair for handling multiple tasks efficiently. The pay for this position is $21.20 per hour.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for sale representatives regarding updates and pending policy change requests.
• Review and evaluate new Life and Disability Income applications to ensure information is complete, accurate and that all criteria is met. Follow up as needed to gather missing data.
• Review underwriting information to determine if changes are needed before generating policy changes.
• Calculate premiums and coordinate assembly of the policy documents for the Sales Representative to deliver to the client.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of general business environment experience demonstrating strong problem-solving, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficient keyboard and customer service telephone skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer applications, while demonstrating speed, accuracy, and a high attention to detail.
• An unquestioned ability to retain confidential business and personnel information.

No insurance experience is required.
