Project Engineering Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Project Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers and designers, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role focuses on leadership, mentorship, and driving operational excellence while collaborating across departments to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences.

• Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and designers, including performance management and goal setting.
• Review incoming projects, define scope, allocate resources, and assign tasks.
• Ensure product fit and function meet customer requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor team performance, cost, and quality goals; report metrics to management.
• Maintain capacity schedules and escalate issues as needed.
• Oversee onboarding and training of new engineering staff.
• Partner with other departments to streamline project execution from design through installation.
• Drive quality assurance, process improvements, and corrective actions.
• Contribute to strategic planning and annual budgeting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, OR 5+ years of progressive product design experience.
• Strong knowledge of industry products, processes, and emerging technologies.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing team performance and metrics.
• Ability to conceptualize and execute design solutions under time and budget constraints.

• Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (Solid Works or Creo).
• Background in project scoping, resource allocation, and approval-level reviews.
