Department Material Handler
Quanex is looking for a Department Material Handler to join our team located in Owatonna, Minnesota. The hours are Monday – Thursday, 3:30pm – 2:00am.
In this role you are responsible for moving material within the plant and keeping designated work areas supplied with material.
Responsibilities- Receive and stock finished goods.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring they are properly organized and accessible.
- Pull and package materials for delivery to various departments or workstations.
- Hook and unhook carts with hitch system.
- Scan finished goods and raw materials with RF scanner, verifying all information.
- Participate in quality control checks and ensure materials meet the required specifications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.

- Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred
- Forklift and other material handling experience required
The hourly wage for this position is $18.50 per hour
