Overview

Paint Plant | Coating Line Operator rate the coating line, hanging parts, removing parts, moving material, and packaging while ensuring quality, safety, and ISO standards.

• Work as a team to hang individual parts on sized fixtures, following the order priority list and shop order.
• Remove parts from fixtures after coating, place them in required containers, pack into boxes, complete associated paperwork, and load data into the computer system.
• Maintain quality and ISO standards by checking and testing product, charting results, and performing general inspections of coated parts and parts to be coated.
• Verify shop order quantity and part identification, sort parts as needed, and resolve discrepancies with shop orders.
• Determine whether a failure is due to a process malfunction or inferior quality of parts.
• Rotate between various jobs and equipment as instructed, performing material movement, setups, operation of equipment, and minor preventative maintenance functions.
• Position or move containers in various work areas as required.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area to facilitate production and minimize safety hazards.
• Work safely and follow procedures/methods as required to prevent injuries and accidents.
• Perform preventative maintenance functions of greasing, oiling, cleaning, etc. to maintain equipment as required or requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

• Achievement of certified operator classification is required.
