To provide operational assistance and relief to Back End personnel, including Palletizer Operator, LSM Operator and Back End Maintainer.

• Assist with setup, maintenance, and operation of equipment such as flangers, beaders, light testers, spray machines, IBOs, and the palletizer.
• Support operations by conducting quality checks on cans.
• Step in to run the palletizer, LSMs, and other back end equipment when designated back end operations and maintainers are unavailable.
• Conduct inspections in the LSM area while the LSM operator performs daily cleaning of the machines.
• Perform visual inspections of cans to ensure full process compliance, taking appropriate corrective actions if any deficiencies are identified.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation such as process check sheets, logbooks, and maintenance check sheets.
• Assist in other areas as needed to maintain a smooth flow of cans through the plant.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and follow all safety procedures and work practices.
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

• Strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to read, understand and comply with SOP’s.
• Basic data entry and computer.
• Ability to safely operate production forklift and maintain certification.
• Knowledge of safety regulations that apply to work functions.
