Your role :
Prepare complex individual and corporate tax returns
Prepare T4s, T5s, HST and other compliance returns
Prepare corporate client financial statements (Audit, Review and Compilations)
Make updates using the client’s accounting software, including posting to general ledgers, reconciling accounts and reviewing reports
Collaborate with peers and management on file planning and completion, ensuring that time requirements are met
Provide personal, attentive service to clients, encouraging productive working relationships
Training and mentoring junior staff on engagements
What you bring to the table:
A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation or working towards considered asset
Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience
Experience managing large engagements
Estate and trust experience considered an asset
In-depth working knowledge of accounting and tax
High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Caseware, and Tax Prep considered an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation to work independently in a high-volume work environment.
The ability to effectively pivot between tasks, prioritize and manage deliverables to meet conflicting deadlines

Your schedule: Monday to Friday with weekend and overtime work in busy season
Salary range: $ 65,000 - $ 90,000
