In support of achieving excellence and business results through safe, reliable operations, our   Governance, Oversight & Assessment is currently hiring for a
* Business Process Specialist
* opportunity.

The Business Process Specialist provides advice, guidance and assistance to ensure the department achieves its business goals and objectives, and reports on monitoring process performance measures and assessments. The Business Process Specialist also participates in the oversight of the management system documents and self-assessments, development and recommendation of a business process framework, and in the implementation of effective and sustaining performance measures, business processes, procedures and improvement initiatives.

The specific business processes for this role include regular communication and coordination with external stakeholders from the Nuclear Safety Review Board and INPO/WANO. In addition, support to governance and oversight processes such as performance oversight, continuous monitoring, peer teams, and change management.

This is a permanent, full-time position which offers a competitive benefits, compensation and pension package and is located on site in Tiverton, Ontario.
* Provide facilitation support internally to the Division and to key external stakeholders that measure our performance.
* Coordinate activities with external service providers. Monitor and participate in performance reviews and assessments of the business and external service provider processes. Resolve issues as appropriate.
* Identify changes and enhancements required for the effective utilization of the key business processes such as Maximo, IRIS/PIC, Power

BI, Sharepoint, etc. Provide system troubleshooting. Perform initial identification of system errors. Communicate system issues and critical errors to the appropriate support group.
* Provide consultative services to users and line management in the use of the key business processes.
* Provide oversight and guidance on the documents within the management system to ensure standards of excellence are established in governance.
* Provide advice, guidance and assistance to ensure the department achieves its business goals and objectives. Provide reports for monitoring process performance measures and assessments at internal and external levels.
* Participate in the development and recommendation of a business process framework, and in the implementation of effective and sustaining performance measures, business processes, procedures and improvement initiatives. Provide advice, guidance and ongoing assistance to process owners with respect to business improvements.
* Manage the development and maintenance of the department web site. Work with staff and internal stakeholders to support mutually agreeable requirements related to content and structure.
* Support the development of change management plans that will support both internal and external stakeholders with the implementation of new business processes.  This includes the development of communication packages and plans to support the business process objectives.
* Perform other duties as required.
