Water Treatment Operator​/Operator-in-Training

Location: Meaford

Clearford is seeking Operators and Operators-in-Training for Water and Wastewater systems in Ontario, including Owen Sound and Collingwood. Help maintain essential water services and protect public health.

You will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining various water and wastewater systems as part of Clearford's operations. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and troubleshooting technical issues. Strong communication skills are necessary to coordinate effectively with clients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily rounds and monitor facility systems

• Collect regulatory samples and transport for laboratory testing

• Operate and repair multiple treatment facilities and systems

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

• Maintain logs related to system performance

Requirements:

• Valid Water and Wastewater certifications relevant to Ontario

• Class G driver’s license with six years of experience

• Proven mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities

• Computer competency, especially with Microsoft applications

• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
