The Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and Framatome, located in Kincardine, Ontario. SGRT is a part of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) project and includes the removal of the steam generators at Unit 3 and 4 and the installation of replacement steam generators with related plant modifications. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.

In addition to the existing contracts for Unit 3 and 4, SGRT has signed a long‑term Preferred Supplier Agreement for steam generator replacements at the plant’s remaining units as part of the Bruce Major Component Replacement project.

The Quality Inspector, Mechanical, is responsible for the performance of all quality functions and duties as related to the SGRT construction activities. The position reports to the Project Quality Supervisor.

Participate in the execution of the Inspection and Test Plans.

Perform quality inspection in accordance with the project’s quality program, the related codes and customer specifications.

• Work in assorted respirators (clean shaven as required) and plastics (as required)
