Astec Thornbury is looking for an Electrical Designer/Engineer to create comprehensive electrical drawings and documentation. This position requires collaboration with various teams, ensuring accurate translations of customer needs into functional electrical designs. The role also demands active participation in machine configurations, PLC program transfers, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and detail electrical schematics for three-phase systems

• Create operational notes and parts lists

• Interact with Sales and Engineering on customer specifications

• Troubleshoot and assist in installation efforts

• Engage in continuous improvement of electrical systems

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering

• AutoCAD experience required; EPLAN knowledge is a bonus

• Understanding of electrical codes and guidelines

• Skills in reading technical diagrams

• Ability to occasionally travel for business projects
