Become an Intermediate Civil Engineer at GEI, focusing on vital projects in land development and water resources. Your expertise will play a crucial role in managing municipal and infrastructure engineering projects.
You will oversee a variety of tasks, including grading & drainage design, transportation systems, and stormwater management. This role provides opportunities for client engagement, project leadership, and mentoring junior engineers, all while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals in an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop design solutions for land development and infrastructure
• Support detailed design of municipal transportation projects
• Perform hydraulic modeling and prepare technical analyses
• Mentor junior staff and review engineering outputs
• Attend meetings with clients and review agencies
Requirements:
• 5–8 years of relevant engineering experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Eligible for P.Eng. in Ontario or currently pursuing
• Strong communication and technical report writing skills
• Willingness to handle site inspections and construction oversight
