Project Engineer Lead - Nuclear Expertise

Join Bruce Power as a Project Engineer Lead, specializing in Mechanical Engineering. This position involves hands-on technical support during critical phases of Nuclear power plant modifications.

The successful candidate will provide oversight for project planning, execution, and commissioning, delivering improvements in safety, quality, and productivity standards. You’ll navigate project scopes effectively while working closely with various stakeholders, utilizing your strong foundation in Nuclear operations and engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee safety, quality, and reliability for engineering projects

• Manage phases from initial design through to commissioning

• Provide technical guidance and ensure quality compliance

• Analyze project documents to quantify controls and instrumentation

• Develop and assess accurate project proposals and budgets

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering mandatory

• 2-4 years of Project Engineering experience beneficial

• Nuclear industry experience is a plus

• Understanding of codes, standards, and engineering systems

• P.Eng. eligibility in Ontario required
