Become a key part of OCWA's team as a Water/Wastewater Facility Operator. Use your technical skills to help maintain and operate essential water services in the Georgian Highlands.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing treatment processes and ensuring operational efficiency. Your work will directly impact the safety of drinking water for numerous communities. Join a recognized leader in the water sector committed to innovation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Conduct process control and maintenance inspections
• Respond to on-call emergencies as needed
• Collaborate with team members for effective operations
• Track and report operational data accurately
Requirements:
• OIT to Class IV certification in water/wastewater
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems
• Familiarity with WHMIS and health regulations
• Capacity to manage manual labor and heavy equipment
• Flexibility for overtime and on-call duties
