Kinectrics invites you to apply for an Electrical Technologist position in Tiverton, ON, focusing on high voltage and safety testing. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with innovative solutions.

Your expertise will contribute to supporting both low and medium voltage cable testing within the High Voltage & Safety Testing (HVST) Department. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge in electrical engineering and relevant testing standards, enhancing utility operations for clients globally. Collaborate with industry experts while addressing customer inquiries and maintaining excellent relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical tests in compliance with safety protocols

• Document routine test reports and field results

• Assist in forensics inspections and safety equipment testing

• Analyze data and provide feedback on test outcomes

• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality control practices

Requirements:

• Three-year college program in Electrical or equivalent

• 8 years’ relevant experience in electrical testing

• Knowledge of PD testing and RTS

• Valid station badging at Bruce Power a plus

• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
